WHO IS PARKER JENSEN?

Parker Jensen is a Country, Bluegrass, Singer-Songwriter. Originally from Chandler Arizona, Parker started by dragging around a guitar since he could walk. At age seven, he started begging for guitar lessons because of the song Wagon Wheel by Old Crow Medicine Show. At seven and a half, he started to play guitar and sing under the watchful eye of Mrs. Anni Beach and Jam Pak.

Jam Pak introduced Parker into a multitude of artists in the Bluegrass and Country genres. Some of his favorite artists from the Jam Pak days were The Stanley Brothers, Hank Williams, Charley Pride, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, The Album Band, Flatt and Scruggs, Ricky Skaggs, Bill Monroe, Jim and Jesse, and The Osborne Brothers. During his time with Jam Pak, Parker played various festivals in Arizona and California.

At the age of nine, Parker and his family relocated to Georgetown Texas, where he started playing at local venues around central texas. At the age of 10, Parker was invited to play an unofficial showcase at South By SouthWest. At the age of 14, Parker became the youngest Texas flatpicking champion in the history of Texas.
